Verus Research Headquarters

Verus Research, a local technology company, had a need for a space that would drive their ability to create a world class team and secure future contracts.

The company had plans to grow, so became evident they needed a scalable, repeatable system that they could implement in any space, and that was flexible enough to accommodate a hybrid work environment. This system would be responsible for representing Verus's mission, culture and space requirements.

What resulted a scalable design that could work across any/all of Verus's facilities. It included some key design anchors and distinctives that influenced every decision about the space. From careful planning, it was determined the team needed a unique blend of collaborative and private space, as well as a "forum" that would serve as a "center of gravity" where the team could share ideas and market to clients, prospects, and recruits.

The company took over an outmoded office building in Albuquerque’s Uptown area and transformed it into a NAIOP award-winning space that will continue to serve as the headquarters and heartbeat of this fast-growing New Mexico company.

The combination of modular construction and intelligent reuse of existing walls allowed for faster construction, integration of technology, and an environment that reflects Verus’s unique culture.
